The short answer…
Our basic formula is $36 per sq ft for Labor, plus the cost of the slabs.
So for a 50 square foot kitchen, plan on spending at least $2500.
That will get you a basic slab (@$700) as well as the Labor cost (@$1800) to fabricate and install your new countertops.
You may find shops advertising a lower square foot price, for example $29, however they will then add extras to your job like charging for sink cut-outs, outlets, faucet holes or cooktop cut-outs.
So its important to compare the overall finished price for the job when getting quotes.
What about sinks?
We give our customers a FREE standard undermount kitchen sink, as well as FREE standard vanity sinks.
What is the process…
- Site Visit: Initial visit to determine your needs, number/size of slabs needed, and preliminary Estimate.
- Slab Yard: You will visit the local slab yards and make slab selections. I will give you a list of slab yards.
- Final Quote: Based on your selected slab pricing, I can now give you a final Quote
- When you are ready we will do the final measure and schedule your install.
Want to save money on slabs?
Most fabricators add a mark-up profit to the slabs. I do not. My customers pay what I pay – the wholesale price with no mark-up.
