The short anwer…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two primary costs that determine how much you will pay for new countertops – the labor cost and the slab cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The labor cost covers fabrication and installation. We charge $36 per square foot to make and install your new quartz or granite countertops. So the labor cost is about $1800 on the typical 50 sq ft kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A slab can cost as little as $700 each, or as much as $5000 each for exotics slabs. Spend as little or as much as you like to get the look you love that’s within your budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that means with us, you can expect to pay as little as $2500 for the typical 50 sq ft kitchen, depending on the price and size of the slab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro Tip:<\/strong><\/mark> Don\u2019t fall for the trick of accepting a low per-square-foot quote only to find added “extras” in the final cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about sinks?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep this in mind when you shop…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Never buy your material directly from a fabricator – you will pay more, and they will have a very limited selection to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, we will give you a list of all the slab yards near you, and we will tell you which yards have the best pricing and selection for the materials you are most interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slabs come in different sizes. Rocky will tell you the size and number of slabs you need for your project – that will save you time and money when you shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro Tip:<\/strong><\/mark> Slab yards are wholesale only. They won’t give you pricing. They do this so Fabricators can mark up the price. But we don’t mark up the price – you pay the same wholesale price we pay for your slabs<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not everyone needs a full slab for their project…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you have a small kitchen or just a vanity or outdoor kitchen – do you need to buy a full slab?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, you don’t. We have literally tons of remnant you can use for your project, both quartz and natural stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using remnant is much less expensive than buying a full slab – sometimes just a few hundred dollars per remnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes! If you are doing a kitchen and a small vanity, and you want a different color for your vanity, we typically don’t mind offering you a free piece of remnant, depending on color and availability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am the owner – 22 years in the business, thousands of projects installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please consider me to be your personal Project Manager. I will answer your questions, review your drawings, measure your project, and personally supervise your project start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can text me day or night with whatever you need. I prefer text since I usually have my hands full in the shop or I am with a customer. Of course feel free to also call during normal business hours. We can set an appointment if you want to stop by the shop to chat<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Then, when you’re ready, I’ll do a site-visit or review your emailed drawings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Next I calculate your project square footage and give you an Estimate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Now it’s time to pick out your slabs. I’ll give you a final Quote once you have made your final slab selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • After you accept the Quote, we’ll schedule a final-measure and your job is typically installed within one to two weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
